Meaning “root” in Japanese, Necco uses traditional Japanese vegetables to recreate the Japanese flavor profile for a new audience.  Necco utilizes the flavor profile of “Umami”, a rich savory flavor that is used in many ingredients such as Tamari Soy Sauce, Koji and many more. Everything is beautifully presented and has such great flavor for such simple dishes. Nothing here is too oily, salty, and sweet – it’s just the right balance.
